Wet-look glaze

Description

Harmony Wet-Look Lacquer is a solvent-based varnish that gives the concrete a wet look.

This product is particularly suitable for printed or with colour acid treated screed and concrete floors.

Dosage: 1 kg = 10 m2 (one coat); the dosage always depends on the porosity of the carrier.

Tools & Cleaning

Lacquer roller, paint tray, tarpaulin, gloves, overshoes.

Clean tools in acetone after use.

Preparation

The base surface must be resistant, sound, solid, clean, dry and free of humidity.

Use Harmony Neutral Agent or Harmony Degreaser for any cleaning required (to remove grease, oil etc).

In rainy or wet weather, the concrete must be at least 6 days old or older.

Application temperature: Minimum 10 °, Maximum 25 °.

It is important to respect the temperature guidelines: Excessive heat during the application of the varnish may result in a crust that will not adhere to the surface, which may cause the varnish to peel off.

Application

Apply a thin and even film.

Dose: 1 kg per 10 m2, per coat. With a porous underground, the consumption can be higher. Pay attention to the dose, because if you use too little, white stains or traces of rolling can occur over time.

Drying time: After 2 - 3 hours, another coat can be applied.

For a permanent wet look a second coat is absolutely necessary.

Drying time: walkable after 6 hours, open to traffic after 48 hours.
