Varnish concrete Premium

Description

Harmony Premium Lacquer is a water-based lacquer for the protection of interior or exterior floors.

We recommend this product for normal traffic.

Characteristics

Type: One-component water-based acrylic lacquer

Colour: white / transparent

Packaging: 1 l, 5 l, 20 l

Dosage: 1 litre = 10 m2 in a single coat, depending upon the porosity of the base surface.

Drying time: 2 - 4 hours for further processing, accessible after 6 hours.

Storage: 12 months in unopened original packaging, stored in a dry and frost-free location.

Tools & Cleaning

Lacquer roller, sprayer, paint gun, paint tray, tarpaulin, gloves.

Clean tools in water after use.

Preparation

The base surface must be resistant, sound, solid, clean, dry and free of humidity.

Use Harmony Neutral Agent or Harmony Degreaser for any cleaning required (to remove grease, oil etc).

Application

For conventional concrete, the Premium Lacquer can be applied minimum 6 days after pouring.

For polished / waxed or smooth concrete, the lacquer can be already applied 24 hours after.

If an extra matt lacquer is wanted, mix the Premium Lacquer with the additional component

B (matting agent) and shake well.

Apply a thin and even film in a single coat with a mop or sponge.

Pay attention to the dose: 1 litre per 10 m2 per coat.

For very porous substrates, the lacquer can be diluted with water (up to 50% water). That must happen however with the first layer. The second layer is then applied, undiluted, on to the fresh, still moist, first layer.

For anhydrite screeds, or self-levelling screed, moisten the surface with a microfibre cloth before application to facilitate application and penetration of the lacquer.

Drying time: walkable after 6 hours.
