Prim is a water-based adhesion primer made from synthetic styrene acrylic copolymer resins, free from solvents.

It is designed for porous or absorbent surfaces, such as:

- Screeds

- Heated floors

- Coatings

- Leveling compounds

This primer ensures optimal adhesion between your existing substrate and finishing products like polished concrete or self-leveling compounds, playing a crucial role in achieving a durable and professional finish.

Choosing the Right Primer

Before application, determine if the substrate is porous or sealed:

Place a few drops of water on the surface :

• If the water is absorbed, the surface is porous—use Prim.
• If the water beads up, the surface is sealed—use Prim Plus.

For areas exposed to frequent water contact, such as showers, sinks, or basins, additional waterproofing must be applied before Prim. Use Harmony Waterproof Undercoat and reinforce with fiberglass tapes for angles.

Application Instructions

1. Surface Preparation: Ensure the substrate is clean, dry, and dust-free.
2. Application: Use a roller or brush to apply the primer evenly in a thin layer.
3. Drying Time: Allow the primer to dry completely before applying the finishing layer.
