Why Choose Self-Levelling Polished Concrete?
- • Ease of Application: Its self-levelling formula spreads evenly without manual smoothing, reducing application time.
- • Elegant Finish: The smooth texture delivers a modern touch to spaces such as living rooms, kitchens, or offices.
- • Enhanced Durability: Designed to resist impacts and wear, ensuring long-lasting performance.
Application
- Mixing: Combine the powder with water using a 500 rpm electric mixer, gradually adding the powder to the water. Mix until homogeneous, then allow the mixture to rest so air bubbles can dissipate. Use a sieve to filter the mix, transferring it into another container to eliminate lumps.
- Spreading: Apply the Self-Levelling Polished Concrete at 4 mm using a leveling bar.
- Smoothing: After using a spiked roller and wearing spiked shoes, smooth the surface again with a Flemish trowel to erase traces and achieve a uniform finish. Glide the trowel over the surface without scraping the floor.
- Continuity: To ensure a consistent finish and avoid joints between pours, quickly follow each pour with the next, overlapping slightly to level the surface.

Protection
- • For regular traffic, use Premium Concrete Varnish.
- • For high traffic or maximum protection, use Optimum Concrete Varnish.
- • To protect the varnish from abrasion, apply a wax finish.
Tips
- • Work in cool conditions and avoid drafts during drying for optimal results.
- • Avoid excess water, as Self-Levelling Polished Concrete is sensitive to it. Always measure the recommended water quantity precisely.
- • Respect existing expansion, fraction, and peripheral joints in the substrate or screed, particularly on heated floors.
- • Verify compatibility between the levelling screed, primers, and Self-Levelling Polished Concrete.
- • Round the bottom edges of external corners (pillars, right angles, etc.) to prevent cracking.
- • Place threshold bars at doorways to contain the pour.
- • Install a perimeter band to isolate the floor from the walls and protect woodwork with masking tape.
